- Contact form submissions — if you submit the contact form on the homepage, we receive your name, email address, phone number (optional), and message content. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties.
- Cookie consent preference — your acceptance or rejection of the cookie notice is stored in your browser's localStorage. This item never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- Server access logs — our hosting provider records standard access log entries (IP address, page requested, browser string, date and time) as part of normal server operation. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
3. Legal basis for processing
Contact form data is processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) given by the act of submitting the form. Server logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, the security and stable operation of the website.
4. Cookies
Valebrook does not set any cookies from its own domain. The cookie consent banner saves a single key-value pair to your browser's localStorage — this is not a cookie and is not transmitted over the network. No advertising, analytics, or social media cookies are present on this website.
Google Fonts is loaded via a stylesheet request to fonts.googleapis.com. This request may result in Google receiving your IP address as part of the CDN delivery mechanism. If you prefer to avoid this, you may block Google Fonts requests using browser-level tools or a content blocker.
5. Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained in our email inbox for a maximum of 12 months after the correspondence is concluded, then deleted. Server access logs are deleted after 30 days.
